I Love Being Naked In Public

January 28, 2019

The subject line is true!

Your eyes are not deceiving you!

I am not ashamed to admit that I walk comfortably and unapologetically naked in public and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I know it’s a strange e-mail to receive, especially from a woman of faith, but it’s true.

And I highly recommend that every woman do it!

Now, before you press delete, allow me to explain!

By walking through the world naked, I’m not referring to being physically unclothed.

Let me just be clear......... I am not out in these streets displaying my lovely, lady lumps for all the world to see.

I don’t even untie my bathing suit top at the beach to avoid tan lines.  So, the naked I’m referencing is not the “birthday suit” kind of naked.

I’m talking about an even more revealing nakedness.

This is a nakedness that causes you to show up in the world comfortable and confident in your own skin.

This is a nakedness where you have stripped away any belief that you have to be like, look like, talk like and act like anything other than who you are to be accepted and valued.

Now, in total transparency, it wasn’t easy for me to get to this place.  It required me to be brave, to trust myself and take risk.  But now that I’m here, I can’t imagine living any other way because I’ve found true freedom.

There is real freedom in showing up in the world UNBOTHERED by what others think, feel and believe about you!  There is a real freedom in knowing that you're worthy and valuable and that what you bring to the table is enough!

And I found this freedom for myself when I embraced being vulnerable.

Contrary to what some believe, vulnerability is not weakness.  It takes real courage to unmask and show the world your true self.

This is why embracing vulnerability is an act of strength!  It is the closest thing to a superpower that we have.

And to live the life I was created to live, I had to make up my mind and stop showing up in the world overdressed in the opinions and expectations others had for me.

So, I now walk comfortably and unapologetically through this world freely the person I sense I was created to be—Flaws and ALL.

Since I'm not ashamed of who I am, I no longer hide who I am.

And I want this same freedom for all women.

So, I say to you sis, allow this world to see you—just as God created you!  You are the one of a kind, original, art work God intended you to be in this world.

So don’t you dare hide the Divine masterpiece you were created to be!
Give us the naked, raw, and unduplicatable (I made that word up)  version of yourself.

You were meant to be seen!

Go forth NAKED and be free!

Blessings
